  • Evolution

    The EPZs were established over 50 years. Their management modes, major products, and operational mechanisms were reformed every 10 to 20 years.

    Up to now, the EPZs have already experienced five stages: "Establishment of Traditional Industries,” "Industries’ Adjustment," "Transformation & Expansions," "Industries’ Clustering," and "Innovation Promotion". The roles of the EPZA have changed from high control to smartly value-added service for customer orientation.

    Besides, the main products of the EPZs have been transformed from low-end OEM products to high-end OEM products, and also towards R&D, design, manufacturing, marketing, branding and logistics. Presently, the EPZs have been developing towards system integrated products.
